Whole Chicken Cooked in Rotisserie-Style Crockpot

  • Chicken cleaned and patted dry
  • Onions cut flat
  • Corn on the cobs
  • Carrots peeled
  • Olive oil
  • Thyme leaves
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder
  • Black pepper
  • Salt
  • Chili powder
  • Brown sugar
  • Smoked paprika

Making The Rotisserie-Style Whole Chicken In The Crockpot

First, you need to mix all the spices together in a small bowl. This will be the rub for the chicken.


Next, you need to arrange the vegetables in a single layer at the bottom of the crockpot. This will create a lift for the chicken and also add flavor and moisture.

Then, you need to rub some olive oil all over the chicken and sprinkle the spice mixture generously on top and inside the cavity. Place the chicken on top of the vegetables in the crockpot.
